KidsPlay Golf (Eagles) – is a fun, entry-level introduction to golf designed for girls and boys ages 6-11 with little or no previous experience. KidsPlay Golf shatters the myth that golf is difficult or boring for children. It includes fun games – like playing tic-tac-toe on a putting green – as well as contests and giveaways.
Golf clubs and other equipment designed especially for kids are provided for all students. Our Starting New at Golf (SNAG) and Short Golf gear feature plastic color-coded handles to help teach proper grip, oversized club heads, tennis balls and targets. Juniors ages 6-11 train skills with station based practice that allows them to learn golf through fun games and play.
The goal is to ensure that kids experience success, which builds confidence and encourages them to continue. Sessions will be at the newly opened Nest at Eagle Crest Golf Club
All junior programs offered by the PGA of Northeastern New York are taught and administered by PGA Professionals. The mission of the Professional Golfers’ Association is to promote enjoyment and involvement in the game of golf and to contribute to its growth by providing services to golf professionals, the golf industry and the community.
