The PGA NENY Junior Tour offers boys and girls a chance to compete with peers as individuals in separate age/gender divisions: 10-12; 13-14 and 15-18. The primary goal of the tour is to provide playing and competitive opportunities that are accessible to all junior golfers age 10-18 focusing on individual competitive play. Each division will also have the ability to earn Player of the Year points. 

We promote sportsmanship, etiquette and respect for the rules and game of golf in a fun, competitive and professional environment. Juniors of any residence are eligible to participate. Tournaments are hosted by various golf courses within the NENY section.

Caddies are not permitted in the Junior Tour Series. Spectators/parents can follow players in the
Classic tournaments but are prohibited during Majors. Participating juniors in Majors require a USGA Handicap Index minimum.

Age Division: Our age divisions are intended to improve competition balance and experience and total tournament field availability to help ensure availability for all eligible players so that events will  not be oversubscribed. These are recommended age divisions but taking note that a junior’s competitive level may qualify him/her to an advanced level (beyond their age basis) that can be explored with our staff and a PGA Professional’s recommendation.
