THE BEST WAY TO GET KIDS STARTED WITH GOLF!

KidsPlay Golf is a fun, entry-level introduction to golf designed for kids ages 4-7 with little or no previous experience. Instructors teach in co-ed classes tailored to specific age groups.

MAKING THE GAME KID-FRIENDLY

KidsPlay Golf shatters the myth that golf is difficult or boring for children. It includes fun games –
like playing tic-tac-toe on a putting green. Golf clubs and other equipment designed especially
for kids are provided for all students. Our Starting New at Golf (SNAG) and Short Golf gear feature
plastic color-coded handles to help teach proper grip, oversized club heads, tennis balls and fun targets!

We ensure that kids experience success, which builds confidence and
encourages them to want to continue coming back to the sport!

A GAME AND EXPERIENCE OF ITS OWN

Behind each and every PGA Jr. League team supervised coaching provides a safe, caring and organized environment for every child to become (and stay) a golfer.  Easily one of the best parts of PGA Jr. League is the team component! Similar to a LIttle League Baseball/Softball, PGAJL consists of supervised coaching and instruction and on-course golf play in weekly matches.

We believe that every child can be a golfer. All skill levels are welcome, and no prior golf experience is required to participate in the program from new to advanced. PGA Jr. League includes three age divisions: 9u, 13u and 17u.

Families are encouraged to take an active role as spectators and volunteers within their local league. Connect with your local PGA Coach regarding these opportunities when you register for a program. Some leagues are in-house and others can be formed across multiple facilities, where teams take turns visiting each other’s golf courses and playing against one another.

The required annual $120 #GameChanger Club membership includes custom jerseys, which are worn throughout as many seasons as you’d like to participate in within the calendar year.

PGA JR. LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP

There are local PGA Jr. League offerings throughout the area at local golf facilities and the NENY PGA Section has a PGAJL summer golf season for all 3 age division offerings of 9U; 13U and 17U hosted at The Nest at Eagle Crest (Par 3 Executive Golf Course) & Eagle Crest Golf Club (18-hole traditional course) in Clifton Park, NY.  PGA Jr. League sessions typically last 6 weeks and use a combination of instruction and on-course play.

The required annual $120 #GameChanger Club membership includes a backpack with custom player jerseys and a PGAJL app that helps keep coaches and parents informed.

Each facility and program is autonomously administered, so be sure to check the details, times, offerings at each facility’s PGA Jr. League webpage searchable by location & zipcode and facility name.
